Sushi à la carte

In this course, you will learn three different styles of sushi: nigiri zushi, maki zushi and inari zushi.
And you will learn some useful skills as well as sushi history.
Maybe it takes a little time to make sushi, but don’t worry I will help you.

Washoku (Light Kaiseki cuisine)
Washoku is famous as very healthy food due to a low calorie, nutritious and well- balanced diet. It is known as “one soup and three side dishes”, and this style has come to form the base of Kaiseki cuisine since Kyoto was the capital of Japan for a long time.
In 2013 washoku was registered as a UNESCO Intangible cultural heritage. Gradually it becomes popular all over the world more and more.

Zen vegetarian cuisine
If you know this kind of simple cuisine, you will realize how wonderful these things are and in discovering such things one by one, your life will be enriched.
We respect and appreciate the beautiful ingredients which come from neighboring farmers.
Zen food is nothing like other vegetarian food. In particular it only includes certain vegetables, and there are some vegetables you are not supposed to use such as onion, green onion, garlic.

Japanese sauté Gyoza
In this course, you will make Japanese sauté gyoza, gomaae or vegetable salad with sesame dressing, miso soup, fried tofu and a bowl of rice.
Making gyoza is a lot of fun with your family.
You have the same motive to make small dumplings like a small pillow and also you have a great chance to listen to your family’s story during making Gyoza.
